Meet Shirtstories' team

Alyssa Santoro

My name is Alyssa Santoro and I am an American undergraduate student currently on exchange at the University of Amsterdam. I am inspired by the Socionext project because it allows me to use my business and marketing sense, and use these skills for a good cause. I would love to make a change in the world the most that I can.

Siu Lin Ho

Siu Lin is a 21 year old third year political science student who has great passion for photography, other cultures, art and poverty issue in Africa. Joining the Shirtstories' team is a great opportunity for her to combine these passions while creating opportunities for South African students. Besides of her study Siu Lin expresses her view upon several social issues trough her photography. Her goal is to create social awareness and get people involved.

Jenni Iloski

Jenni, 24 years old, joins the ShirtStories team from Sydney, Australia. She is currently studying a Bachelor Social Science/Diploma of Innovation Management.

Jenni will often ask, ‘what can we learn here?’ and is passionate about working in ways which, support people to reach their goals. This makes ShirtStories the perfect fit, as it combines learning with creating opportunities for South African students to reach their goal of going to university.

Nicolaas Marcos

Nicolaas is a 22 year old student, who is in his third year of the BA Media & Culture Studies. After being to all nine provinces in South Africa, he got to experience this amazing country with its rich history and the impact it has on the South African society. His passion is contributing to social change in terms of education and social awareness through photography, film and other media platforms. His goal is to leverage social awareness and raise scholarship funding through this ShirtStories project.
